Sailor 1911 Standard Ninja Fountain Pen in Star with Rhodium Trim - 14K Gold
Announcing a release from Sailor: the 1911S Ninja series fountain pens. This is a special, overseas-exclusive collection that pays homage to the unique history and weapons of the ninja. As an overseas exclusive, this product is not available in Japan and is only released for markets outside of Japan.
The Ninja #2 Series draws inspiration from the most mysterious figures in Japanese history, who were known for their unique weapons and methods. The pens in this series are named after some of these weapons, each with its own distinctive design:
Katana: This pen has a black body and features a 14K gold nib with black iron plating. The design is inspired by the ninja's use of the katana, focusing on a quick, reliable strike to end the battle swiftly.
Kusarigama: This fountain pen has a dark blue body and a 14K gold nib. It's named after the kusarigama, a weapon used to entangle an opponent's weapon or ensnare their neck or legs.
Shachihoko: The Shachihoko pen has a transparent black body and a 14K gold nib with rhodium plating. The intricate design features a Shachihoko, which is a mythical sea monster that has a head of a tiger and a body of a carp. Shachihoko statues can be found on the roof of many historical castles.
Star: This pen has a transparent dark grey body and a 14K gold nib with rhodium plating. This design is based on the shuriken, or throwing stars, which were used to create noise and instill fear in enemies.
Each pen in this series is made from PMMA resin and features a Yuubi Maki-e print on the barrel. All four pens come equipped with a solid 14K gold nib and are available in three nib sizes: fine, medium-fine, and medium.
